Bharat Kathpal
Founder & Principal Consultant
Bharat Kathpal is the Founder and Principal Consultant at Talent Compass, bringing close to two decades of experience in human resources and recruitment. Since entering the HR industry in 2009, he has built extensive expertise in labour relations, employee relations, contractual negotiations, policy development, and talent acquisition.
Through Talent Compass, Bharat focuses on bridging the gap between organizations and the right talent while keeping the human element at the centre of every HR decision. His approach is rooted in integrity, strong relationships, and a belief that successful businesses are built through people-first strategies.
In addition to recruitment services, Bharat is passionate about helping organizations strengthen their internal HR functions. Talent Compass proudly supports businesses particularly those without dedicated HR teams by providing practical consulting solutions that empower leaders and build stronger workplaces.
Preet Dhaddaa Kathpal
Vice President, Business Development
Preet has been the strategic force behind Talent Compass since its earliest stages, helping shape the company’s vision and growth alongside founder Bharat Kathpal. A career banker, broker, and serial entrepreneur, she brings a diverse professional background and strong business acumen to the organization.
After more than 15 years in business development roles with multiple national banks, Preet now leads Business Development at Talent Compass as Vice President. Her extensive experience in relationship management and client service allows her to build meaningful partnerships while supporting the firm’s continued expansion.
Preet is also a strong advocate for work-life balance and fostering a strong internal culture. She brings a thoughtful focus on communication, collaboration, and the human element that sits at the core of Talent Compass’s people-first approach.
Scott Allen
Recruitment Consultant
Scott Allen is a Recruitment Consultant at Talent Compass who brings a unique perspective shaped by his career as a former professional hockey player. Having competed across multiple organizations in North America and Europe, he developed a deep understanding of teamwork, leadership, and the qualities that drive high-performing teams.
Drawing on his experience in high-performance environments, Scott approaches recruitment with a team-first mindset. He is passionate about identifying professionals who not only meet the technical requirements of a role but also contribute positively to company culture and long-term success.
